Should I buy this or subscribe to Harvey?

Subscribe when you need a managed legal platform and its source integrations. Buy this bounded workflow when you already have authorised research materials and need your own memo format and review process.

Will it find every relevant case?

No. It researches the supplied pack or approved folder. The memo states its source coverage and research date. Your lawyer decides what further research is needed.

Does a citation mean the law is still current?

No. Source existence, correct quotation and current good law are different checks. Your lawyer must verify current treatment using appropriate legal sources.

Can I add a legal database?

Yes, subject to its commercial terms and permitted AI use. Agree access, coverage, connector work and ongoing charges with your provider; these are not included in the folder option.

What if the sources disagree?

The memo shows the competing authorities and relevant context instead of silently choosing an answer. A lawyer resolves the legal question.

Can client information stay private?

Use private inference and local source packs when external calls are not allowed. Also confirm that you have the rights to process the source materials and that your security requirements are met.
