SourcesWhich filings should it work with?

Compare reports you supply, or watch a company list for new filings.

What is included

Provide current and prior filing sections for the same company. Receive a figures table, source-linked note and risk-change checklist. Missing or conflicting evidence stays visible.

Each update compares 1 company across 2 periods: 15 financial fields and 10 risk topics. Selected English report sections can total up to 60 pages and 20,000 words. Use machine-readable HTML or PDFs.

The watcher covers up to 25 US-reporting companies and checks SEC annual and quarterly filings every 60 minutes. Source delays and failed refreshes remain visible. Live prices, news, other markets and paid data feeds are separate.

Research checksHow closely should it check the evidence?

Get the figures and periods right, support claims with sources and find changed risk disclosures.

How the checks are measured

Proposed acceptance targets, not measured results. Your analyst labels held-out reports and checks every value, source reference and risk change.

Targets for your selected checks
What is checkedTarget
Financial fields correctCorrect complete value tuples or correct unavailable labels divided by all required field slots. Wrong periods, currency, scale, source versions and blank output fail. Report present-value accuracy separately.≥98%
Claims supported by sourcesSupported factual claims with correct source locations and versions divided by all factual claims. A working link alone is insufficient. Pair with required-topic coverage so empty output cannot pass.≥98%
Required topics coveredCorrect answers or explicit, verified lack of evidence divided by all required topic slots. Unsupported interpretations and omitted topics fail.≥95%
Risk changes foundCorrectly identified in-scope disclosure changes divided by all analyst-labelled changes. Missing output remains a miss; labels define materiality rather than letting the model decide it after the test.≥90%
Risk-change flags correctConfirmed changes divided by all flagged changes. Merely reworded disclosures are not changes unless the agreed label definition says so.≥90%

Wrong periods, currencies, scales and source versions count as errors. Empty notes cannot pass coverage; flagging every passage cannot pass precision. These checks do not measure investment returns.

SpeedHow quickly should the research note be ready?

Choose the processing time after the source packet is ready, not the time a company takes to publish it.

Timing details

At least 95% of accepted packets should meet the target, with up to 3 updates in progress. Include parsing, queueing, verification, retries and saving the note. Display source cutoff and last successful refresh separately; this is not a real-time market alert.

Running-cost targetHow much should each company update cost?

Set the machine budget per update. This may affect model choice and verification passes.

Cost details

Reference core machine cost: $0.22 – 0.28 per update at 1,000 updates a month. Includes parsing, model calls, retries and allocated hosting.

New filing versions mean another run. Analyst time, maintenance, paid data and your calling agent are separate. Fewer runs increase the hosting share per update. Test the cost target alongside accuracy and speed.

EnvironmentWhere should the research workflow run?

Choose your hosting and whether document text may be sent to an approved AI service.

Data and source access

Run in your existing cloud environment with analyst access controls and agreed source retention.

Send authorised filing text to your approved model endpoint. Keep private research out unless its processing terms have also been approved.

Private inference does not disconnect the SEC watcher. Agree source licences, access and retention; do not put confidential positions or research in this public guide.

InterfaceHow should your analysts use it?

Choose a review page, connect your existing agent or use a dedicated research agent.

Anything else your provider should know?

Optional. Add your research template, source types or other requirements.

Common questions

When should I buy this rather than subscribe to a research platform?

Use a product such as Rogo when its broader research tools and data access fit your team. Buy a workflow when you want a defined company-review process running in your environment, with your own checklist and measurable checks.

Does it tell me which shares to buy?

No. It prepares source-linked research and flags changes for an analyst. It does not execute trades, promise returns or replace an investment decision.

Can it include earnings calls, private documents or another market?

Yes, if you and the provider agree source access, licences, field definitions and tests. The guide range covers supplied filing sections or the stated SEC annual and quarterly filing watcher, not every financial data source.

What happens when a filing is late, amended or unreadable?

The update shows its source cutoff and refresh status. Amendments are versioned, missing evidence stays visible, and failed jobs are held for review rather than presented as current research.

Can I request different targets or an existing research template?

Yes. Add your requirements to the brief and agree the final scope and price with the provider. Test accuracy, speed and machine cost together on your documents.
