Extend 36 music tracks to ten minutes with smooth crossfades

Project brief

Need an audio engineer for a batch of 36 tracks, each around 3-4 minutes. Extend each to exactly 10 minutes by repeating its audio in a DAW with 5-7 seconds of overlap. Finish with a 5-second linear fade-out.

Please listen through every join. It should sound continuous, not like the song stopped and started again. Use overlapping crossfades rather than hard cuts.

Export 16-bit, 48 kHz WAVs. Put six files in each folder, gather the folders under one parent folder and send a ZIP. The 36 authorized source tracks will be agreed and supplied before starting.

Deliverables & acceptance

What you'll deliver

  • A ZIP containing all 36 extended WAVs, grouped six per folder.

What the result must meet

  • Every export is 10 minutes, 16-bit WAV at 48 kHz, with a 5-second linear ending fade.
  • All repeated sections use 5-7-second crossfades; listening checks find no abrupt restarts or hard-cut joins.
