Make copied Shopify product templates independently editable
Project brief
Two Shopify product templates should share a design, not accidentally share their content. I need a developer to remove the hard-coded/shared settings that stop a copied apparel template from being edited independently.
Images, headings, text, buttons and links should be editable through the Theme Editor. Keep the existing layout, and make sure editing the second template does not alter the first. Work on a theme copy and check both desktop and mobile. We will agree the affected sections before starting. Please mention your experience with Online Store 2.0 section schemas.
Deliverables & acceptance
What you'll deliver
- Corrected theme copy and a short Theme Editor demonstration.
What the result must meet
- Editing agreed content in the copied template leaves the original product template unchanged.
- Both templates retain their agreed layout and work at the agreed mobile and desktop widths.
