Make a functional part ready for FDM printing
Project brief
Need a 3D designer who understands how parts actually print. Develop or refine one functional part for a consumer FDM printer, paying attention to wall thickness, strength, overhangs, support needs and surface finish.
We will agree the part, printer/material, dimensional fit checks and included test/revision round before starting. Explain your print orientation and design choices. This is not a decorative render-only job: the final geometry must slice correctly and meet the agreed practical constraints.
Deliverables & acceptance
What you'll deliver
- Editable model, STL/3MF and recommended print orientation/settings.
What the result must meet
- The model is watertight and slices without geometry errors under the agreed printer profile.
- Agreed dimensions, minimum walls and support/fit checks pass, including the agreed test revision.
