Critically review a machine-learning bachelor's thesis experiment proposal
Project brief
I need a machine-learning research advisor to challenge a bachelor's thesis proposal and suggest a sound research direction. This is feedback and mentoring, not an assignment to write a thesis or run experiments.
The starting papers are https://arxiv.org/abs/2406.11741 and https://arxiv.org/abs/2508.17669. The proposed experiment should not simply repeat published work. It needs a sensible motivation, a defensible dataset construction and evaluation method, and a meaningful question. A novel result is not required.
Please provide evidence of research experience, such as a thesis or paper, and show that you can understand these works. The actual proposal and feedback arrangement must be agreed before commissioning. Allow seven production days after the materials are ready. Acknowledgment can be named or anonymous by agreement.
Deliverables & acceptance
What you'll deliver
- Critical feedback and practical research direction on the agreed proposal.
What the result must meet
- Feedback addresses non-repetition, motivation, dataset construction and evaluation methodology.
- Advice supports the student's own work; no thesis writing or experiment execution is included.
