Billing

This guide covers RenX plans, usage credits, usage tracking, and billing management.

Who this is for: Users managing their plan, usage costs, or marketplace payment setup.

Plans

RenX has three plans, shown as cards under Settings > Subscription:

• Pay as you go — $0 / month. The default for every new account. You use RenX-hosted models with prepaid usage credits and top up whenever you need more. A welcome credit is included when you create your account.
• Pro — $30 / month. Everything in Pay as you go, plus $25 in usage credits each month and the ability to connect your own model API keys and custom providers.
• Enterprise — Custom. A tailored RenX deployment for organizations. Contact the RenX team to plan requirements.

Subscribing to Pro

1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
2. Choose Pro and follow the checkout.
3. On desktop, checkout is processed by Stripe; on iOS, the subscription is an App Store purchase.
4. Once payment is processed, your subscription is active immediately and your monthly credits are granted.

Managing Your Subscription

How you manage the subscription depends on where you purchased it:

• Subscribed on desktop/web (Stripe): click Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel.
• Subscribed on iOS (App Store): manage or cancel through your Apple subscriptions page. RenX links there directly from the Subscription section.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time. After canceling:

• You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
• Your subscription will not renew.
• Credits already granted remain available.
• No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period (except where required by law).

Credits

Usage in RenX is billed from prepaid usage credits.

How Credits Work

• Welcome credit — Granted once when you create your account and confirm your email.
• Monthly grants — Pro includes $25 in usage credits each month.
• Top-ups — Buy additional credits at any time from Settings > Subscription. A 25% platform fee is added at checkout on desktop/web; on iOS, top-ups are App Store purchases at the prices shown.
• Usage — Model usage is deducted from your balance at provider cost — RenX adds no markup on usage itself.

Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law.

Credit Activity and Payment History

The Subscription section shows two ledgers:

• Credit Activity — Every credit added to your account: welcome credit, monthly Pro grants, and top-ups.
• Payment History — What you actually paid: Stripe invoices, App Store purchases, and card top-ups, each linking to the full receipt where available.

Usage Tracking

Go to Settings > Usage to see where your spend goes.

• Overview — Total spend, request count, token volume, cache hit rate, and blended cost per million tokens for the selected period, plus your top conversations and top models by spend.
• API calls — A per-request log of model calls: model, tokens, cost, duration, and status. Only metadata is recorded — prompts and responses are never stored in this log.

Usage records are retained for 90 days.

Your Own API Keys (BYOK)

With Pro, you can connect your own provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) and add custom providers under Settings > API and Pricing:

• Usage under your own keys is billed to you directly by the provider — it does not consume RenX credits.
• Your provider bills are completely separate from RenX billing.
• On Pay as you go, model usage runs through RenX-hosted models using your credit balance.

Payment Methods

Desktop/web payments are processed through Stripe; iOS purchases are processed by Apple. We do not store your card details — payment information is handled by the payment provider.
