What fee does RenX charge service providers?

RenX charges a platform fee on paid Marketplace work. The fee is the higher of 15% of the task price before tax or the minimum provider fee for the task currency.

The fee is shown before you confirm the work, so you can review the amount and your estimated proceeds in advance. Publishing a task, applying for work, and discussing a proposal do not create a platform fee.

RenX rounds the fee to the smallest payment unit for the currency, such as a penny or cent. Exactly half a unit rounds up. The agreed fee is recorded in your contract.

RenX collects the fee when the buyer funds the agreed work. It is not charged again when the work is delivered, accepted, or paid out to your bank. Tax on the RenX fee and payment-provider costs are separate and may reduce your final proceeds.

For example, on a GBP 100 task, the platform fee is GBP 15 before any applicable tax. On a smaller task, the currency’s minimum provider fee may apply instead.

If part of the task price is refunded, RenX recalculates the fee against the amount you ultimately keep. The minimum fee applies once to the task, not once to each refund.
