How does RenX review a payment dispute?
When a payment dispute is opened, RenX pauses any affected payment release and asks the parties for the information needed to review the issue.
RenX considers the agreed task terms, formal delivery, recorded communications, files, payment status, and evidence submitted by both parties. The outcome may require correction and redelivery, release all or part of the payment, return all or part of the eligible payment, or leave the original result unchanged.
If RenX proposes a settlement that changes how money is divided, both parties are shown the proposed amounts and costs before confirmation unless RenX has a valid contractual or legal basis to make a binding decision. Unknown or conflicting payment evidence is not treated as zero; the financial action stays under review until the relevant amount can be verified.
RenX shows the review status and next required action in Work. Opening a review is not confirmation that either party has won and is not confirmation that a refund or payout has completed.
